 Why have I chosen this track?
Although this track's full length is not 3 minutes, it will allow for more creative freedom either at the beginning or at the end of the video as I will be able to have, potentially, an establishing shot in silence to heighten the impact of camerawork and introduce the artist. The song has some instrumental parts which will be suitable for narrative elements in the video. The non-verbal aspects allow, again, for more creativity. The song also has the incorporation of a heavier beat further into the song which will allow for a climax in the storytelling to match the dynamic of the song. The artist's vocals are quite mellow and raw making it sound very emotional fitting with the theme discussed within the composition and providing it with depth.

 Why have I chosen this artist?
JOHN.k is a very small artist with little media attention and so I want to demonstrate the importance of recognising more niche artists that are just as talented if not more so than A-listers.
